Even though he lost the battle to Kanye, 50 Cent’s Curtis  CD moved over 600,000 copies in the first week. His first two CD’s were platinum out the gate. The last G-Unit cd T.O.S. went certified copper (oh well). Well now 50’s Before I Self Destruct is coming in this week at 150,000 copies according to the first weeks sales. I am sure he will blame it on the leak. But the Blueprint 3 was leaked and Jay still pushed over 400,000 copies. He will have all sorts of excuses I am sure. I heard the CD. Its not bad. There is at least 5 or 6 good records on there. I just think the heat is low on the once chart dominating rapper. He is looking to debut somewhere behind John Mayer. 2,3, or 4 is what is being predicted. He needs a little less beef and a little more heat. Ja Rule is sitting somewhere laughing right now.

I miss the old Sig. This beefing Jay, Beans is sounding like a upset son missing his Pops. Jay-Z just scored his first official number record in the country. I wonder what means more to him. LOL!!!

via – allhiphop.com - 50 Cent’s Cheetah Vision Films company has inked a deal with a Georgia production company Action Jackson Films, to produce and finance 3-5 major films per year.

Variety reports that Cheetah Vision’s first project under a new deal with investor Richard Jackson is titled The Gun, which was written by 50 Cent himself.

50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, will star opposite Val Kilmer in The Gun, which will begin shooting next month in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Jesse Terro sitting in the director’s chair.

The Gun revolves around friends who are involved in the underground world of gun dealing.

The movie is the first of three features that 50 Cent has already penned.

“When you write a song, you need to say it in three minutes or it is overkill, but I like creating stories and going in depth with characters,” 50 Cent told Variety.

Via Allhiphop – Comedian Katt Williams was arrested outside of Atlanta, Georgia overnight, following an incident that resulted in charges of burglary and criminal trespassing.

Roxanne Shante who sparked controversy earlier this year after lying about her education, now reveals that she is battling breast cancer. She discovered lump in her breast and waited to be diagnosed.

 ”In March, I noticed a lump in my left breast, rather small at the time and didn’t really know what I was feeling,”"So instead of going straight to the doctor’s office, I started asking friends their opinion and trying to go by their experiences. It was such a stupid move. Well, I figured I was just getting older. A hysterectomy in my early thirties led me to believe that I would be fine. Another stupid move.”

50 Cent is really trying to draw Jay-Z into a battle. I think that Jay may want to make some sort of statement. 50 is putting the pressure up on this one.

Via Allhiphop.com – 50 Cent confirmed Sigel’s allegations on “Average Cat” that he almost signed the Philadelphia-bred rapper to his G-Unit Records, which at one point, was to jointly market a project by former Roc-A-Fella artist Freeway.

 ”He [Beanie Sigel] would have got at least $800,000 at that point to come over,” 50 Cent told Miss Jones. “Jay was telling him that he didn’t want to lose him. I think Jay and Puffy had these feelings toward me at one point I believe.”
